Ruth’s Chris Steak House opened its second local restaurant this week, this one in Lakewood Ranch. The 7,000-square-foot space houses several dining areas that range from formal to casual, with outdoor and private dining options, as well.

“The Lakewood Ranch location is our 16th in the state of Florida, representing an exciting expansion in the region that further entrenches us in this area’s fine dining scene,” said Cheryl Henry, the president of Ruth’s Chris, according to a press release. “We’re thrilled to continue to serve this community and look forward to more expansion opportunities in the future.”

In addition to offering its signature steaks, served on 500-degree plates, Ruth’s Chris Lakewood Ranch will also feature a generous happy hour, with cocktail specials and appetizers starting at $9.
