Last month, Big Top Brewing Company and Gecko’s Hospitality Group teamed up to create a new beer that recognizes the 100th anniversary of the founding of Sarasota County. Now, one Gecko's Grill & Pub location is throwing a party where you can sample that beer, the grapefruit-flavored Centennial Lager, as well other Big Top creations.

The fiesta, 100 Years Feature Night, will take place from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, at the Gecko's located at 351 N. Cattlemen Road, Sarasota. With each can of beer sold, Gecko's will donate a percentage to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that helps Sheriff’s Office employees in need.
