These 11 Restaurants Are Offering Special Valentine's Day Meals

Whether you want to eat out or pick up a meal for two to eat at home, here are 11 solid options.

Blasé Southern Style

If you're searching for dinner and a show, consider Blasé, which is hosting a special meal with a cabaret show. Choose between a crab soup, a salad, beef, ravioli and lobster ravioli, followed by dessert.

In addition to offering its regular menu this weekend, Boca is serving a few special items, including miso-glazed salmon, grilled filet mignon and lobster pappardelle.

The Capital Grille

Order a three-course takeout dinner for two from The Capital Grille, which will supply you with prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella, a salad, filet mignon and lobster tails, plus sides and a dessert trio. You can also grab a bottle of wine and a cocktail, as well.

La Dolce Vita

Enjoy a free glass of prosecco at La Dolce Vita this Sunday and choose from a special selection that includes an artichoke appetizer, a salad, pasta or gnocchi, lamb or fish and dessert.

The live music gets going at this German restaurant in Bradenton at 4 p.m. on Sunday. You can order two entrées and a bottle of house wine for $49. (There are some exceptions.)

Enjoy a steak dinner at home, but skip the cooking. Grove is offering Valentine's Day dinners for two from Friday to Sunday. Delivery and pickup are available on Friday and Saturday; pickup only on Sunday. The menu includes filet mignon, sides and a bottle of prosecco.

Hamlet's Eatery

Since Valentine's Day falls on a Sunday, brunch is an enticing option. Hamlet's Eatery, the food truck that sets up in the courtyard of The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime, will be serving food during a jazz brunch that runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Performers are Nancy Pastore and Judi Glover. Cocktails will be supplied by the mobile bar Cornerstone & Co.

Libby's Neighborhood Brasserie

Don't wait until the weekend to celebrate. Libby's is running a special Valentine's menu from Thursday to Sunday, with a special menu that includes barbecued shrimp, shrimp scampi, surf and turf, a steak and strawberry shortcake.

All three Mattison's restaurants are celebrating Valentine's Day this Friday and Saturday, with a mix of live entertainment and special menu items. Food is also available for takeout for a meal at home.

You can pick from two different Valentine's Day takeout packages at Seasons 52: a dinner for two with filet mignon, salad, sides, dessert and wine, or a big box that feeds four to six and contains steak or salmon, salad, sides and desserts.

Ditch the meat this year, and instead opt for a vegan takeout dinner for two from Veg. Order by Friday, pick up on Saturday and reheat whenever you get hungry. Food includes soup, salad, portobello "steak" or vegan pot pie, raw cashew cheesecake and sangria or wine.
