Heads up: Mother's Day is May 8. Here are 10 great local options if you want to wine and dine your mom.

This Mother’s Day, pay back all those years of home-cooked meals and treat Mom to a brunch fit for a queen. There are plenty of local options to dine out on the holiday next Sunday, May 8—here are just a few.

The Polo Grill and Bar in Lakewood Ranch is serving up its annual Mother’s Day brunch 11 a.m – 3 p.m. The meal is served buffet style, featuring a seafood bar, chef station, hot and cold items, and a pastry table for $39.95 for adults and $19.95 for kids 12 and under. Pier 22 also shines the spotlight on moms with its Sunday brunch. Guests can enjoy the buffet 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. for $32.95 for adults and $14.95 for kids under 12. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling (941) 748-8087.

Michael’s On East provides another buffet option for $48.95 for adults, $19.95 for children ages 3-10, and no cost for children under 3. A limited amount of reservations are left and can be made by calling (941) 366-0007.

The Table Creekside offers a Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Guests can indulge in a variety of options from the restaurant’s breakfast and dinner menu. There’s also a special menu for kids under 12, featuring items like elephant ear French toast and scrambled eggs. Reservations are recommended; call (941) 921-9465.

Sponsored by Milan Catering and Event Design, the Crosley Estate features a Southern-style menu at its fourth annual Mother’s Day brunch. Prepaid reservations can be made on the Crowley Estate’s website for $42 for adults, $24 for children 3 to 10, and no cost for children under 3. Seatings are at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The Capital Grille’s brunch features specialty cocktails for $7, brunch for $49 and a children’s brunch for $15. The menu includes a choice of appetizer, entrée, dessert and beverage, with a different menu for adults and kids. Reservations can be made on the Capital Grille’s website.

Columbia Restaurant is serving its dinner menu all day in a variety of its Florida locations, including Sarasota. In addition to the dinner entrées, the restaurant offers special Mother’s Day tapas, entrées, and desserts. Reservations for any location can be made by visiting Columbia’s website.

Marina Jack gives families a variety of different dining experiences. Moms can choose to attend the Dining Room Brunch 10 a.m. - 3 p.m, the Blue Sunshine Patio beginning at 11 a.m, or the Deep Six Lounge & Palm Room beginning at 11 a.m. Additionally, the Marina Jack II Cruise allows for families to dine on the water and features a buffet and live music. TableSeide Restaurant Group is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch at each of its restaurants. Libby’s Cafe + Bar has a menu that ranges from sweets to salads, at $45 for adults and $12 for kids under 12. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (941) 487-7300. Louies Modern’s brunch also offers a variety of options for $55 for adults and $25 for kids under 12. Call (941) 552-9650 for reservations. And another TableSeide restaurant, Muse at the Ringling, is serving dishes from a special Mother’s Day menu that can be enjoyed while taking in the beauty of the museum grounds. Reservations can be made by calling (941) 360-7390. Each of the brunches are served 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The Ritz Carlton, Sarasota serves up its annual Mother’s Day brunch 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The whole feast is $119 for adults, $42 for children under 12, and free for children under 3. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (941) 309-2000.
