Supply Distribution Locations Open in Sarasota and Manatee Counties

Sarasota County
Four supply locations in Sarasota County will open on Sunday, Sept. 29, and Monday, Sept. 30, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., for community members impacted by Hurricane Helene.
The following locations will be open Sunday and Monday, Sept. 29 - 30, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. or while supplies last:
- 1000 Glebe Lane, Siesta Key
- 100 S Casey Key Road, Nokomis
- 326 Nokomis Ave. S., Venice
- 8570 Manasota Key Road, Englewood
Supplies available include water, ice, sports drinks, tarps, flood buckets, non-perishable food items and meals-ready-to-eat (MREs).
Town of Longboat Key
Longboat Key has opened a neighborhood point of distribution at 525 Bay Isles Parkway (the parking lot of Publix). It will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Supplies available are:
- Water
- Ice
- Sports drinks
- Flood buckets
- Meals-ready-to-eat (MREs)
Manatee County
In Manatee County, three points of distribution (POD) sites have been set up at, Blackstone and GT Bray Parks and the Kingfish Boat Ramp. Each has meals-ready-to eat (MRE), water and tarps. GT Bray also has a cooling station and shower access available, although visitors will need to bring their own soap and shampoo.
- Blackstone Park: 2112 14th Avenue West (Palmetto)
- GT Bray Park: 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West (Bradenton)
- Kingfish Boat Ramp: 752 Manatee Ave. (Holmes Beach)
If you do not have a home or business on the barrier islands, please avoid the area as county crews and law enforcement continue to make their assessments. Please be safe and patient when traveling to the locations. We're all in this together.
