Florida Still No. 6 in Ranking of Best States in Which to Start a Business

Texas was ranked as the top state in which to start a business, followed by Utah, Georgia, Montana, Oklahoma and then Florida.

Florida was again ranked as the No. 6 best state in which to start a business by the finance and research website WalletHub. The study examined a state's "business environment," access to financing and business costs. Texas was ranked as the top state in which to start a business, followed by Utah, Georgia, Montana, Oklahoma and then Florida. Hawaii, New Hampshire and Rhode Island were ranked as the worst states in which to start a business. Florida was ranked No. 6 last year, as well.
