Sarasota County’s human resources department is holding a job fair for public works, utilities and fleet positions from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 12, at the Sarasota County Operations Center, 1001 Sarasota Center Blvd., Sarasota. The county is currently recruiting for the following positions: civil engineer, stormwater engineer, traffic engineer, heavy truck technician, HVAC technician, roadway and stormwater inspector, wastewater technician, equipment operator, skilled trades worker and horticultural technician. County representatives will be available to assist candidates in completing applications and answer questions about current and future opportunities.
