Free Small Engine Repair Classes Offered

Goodwill Manasota, in partnership with United Way of Manatee County, Turning Points and Fixmylawnmower.com, is offering a free weekly small engine repair course, graduates of which are guaranteed an interview with a local employer and a free tool kit.

Goodwill Manasota, in partnership with United Way of Manatee County, Turning Points and Fixmylawnmower.com, is offering a free weekly small engine repair course, graduates of which are guaranteed an interview with a local employer and a free tool kit. The course introduces students to small engines and covers all types of internal combustion engines, with time devoted to disassembly, examination, reconditioning and assembly. The program takes 28 weeks to complete. Classes are held 1-4 p.m. each Sunday at the United Way building located at 1701 Tamiami Trail, Bradenton.
