Center for Sight, an ophthalmology practice with seven locations in Southwest Florida, for the first time recently implanted the newly approved TECNIS Symfony intraocular lens, which restores glasses-free vision to patients with cataracts. The Symfony lens is now approved for cataract patients in the U.S. who want clear, sharp vision at all distances without glasses, including patients who may be experiencing other visual conditions such as presbyopia or astigmatism. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the Symfony as an Extended Range of Vision lens in July.
