Anu Tali recently signed a three-year contract renewal as music director of the Sarasota Orchestra. Tali began her position as the fifth music director in the history of the orchestra on Aug. 1, 2013. Her second three-year contract takes effect on Aug. 1. In addition to her role with the Sarasota Orchestra, Tali serves as chief conductor of the Nordic Symphony Orchestra, which she founded with her sister Kadri Tali in 1997.
