On a recent walk along Siesta Beach, illustrator John Pirman spotted a couple tossing a Frisbee in front of their beached catamarans. White-flecked waves and a surly sky provided a stunning backdrop for the bright neon sails, says Pirman, and the scene seemed to epitomize “a fun Siesta Sunday afternoon.”
