Artist John Pirman visited Siesta Beach shortly after Sweet Sparkman Architects completed its new Lookout Station, a beach pavilion of cantilever design that joins the original Tim Siebert-designed pavilion, offering visitors shelter and great Gulf views. “It’s a bold addition that transforms the public beach into a world-class community park,” says Pirman. “I’m impressed by the creative joining of these two buildings and how they serve the public.”
