The Community Foundation of Sarasota County’s 2016 Giving Challenge, held Tuesday and Wednesday, raised more than $5.6 million through 63,567 gifts, with an added $7.5 million in matching funding from The Patterson Foundation.
The annual conference gathers more than 150 regional fundraising and planned giving professionals for a half-day of networking, lectures and workshops.
The Community Foundation of Sarasota County has added three new members to its Board of Directors: Marilyn Thompson, Mary Lou Winnick and Daniel DeLeo.
