The Community Foundation of Sarasota County has established a disaster relief fund that will help those whose lives have been upended by Hurricane Irma.
In partnership with the Sarasota Young Professionals Group, the Community Foundation of Sarasota County is offering a free event focused on financial literacy for young professionals.
The Community Foundation of Sarasota County’s 2016 Giving Challenge, held Tuesday and Wednesday, raised more than $5.6 million through 63,567 gifts, with an added $7.5 million in matching funding from The Patterson Foundation.
The annual conference gathers more than 150 regional fundraising and planned giving professionals for a half-day of networking, lectures and workshops.
The Community Foundation of Sarasota County has added three new members to its Board of Directors: Marilyn Thompson, Mary Lou Winnick and Daniel DeLeo.
