The Van Wezel Foundation was established 34 years ago with the mission to partner with the city and the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall to ensure the arts in our community would thrive. The results have been impactful.

Just as the founders of the Van Wezel committed a half century ago, the City of Sarasota has embraced a bold vision for the future of our community— a transformative master plan for the Bayfront, with a new world-class performing arts center at the heart of it.
