The influence of United Way Suncoast CEO Jessica Muroff and Chief Impact Officer Bronwyn Beightol manifests itself in many ways. Muroff, a working mom and community champion, inspiring a group at a Sarasota Chamber’s Women At Work event with work-life fulfillment. Beightol, long an area leader, engaging community stakeholders and sharing our impact via United Way Suncoast’s new Freedom To Rise podcast. Together, they are a force for good.

Muroff’s guidance since taking over UWS in November 2019 has resulted in the organization extending its support of key initiatives in Sarasota County. In the wake of the pandemic, she guided the nonprofit’s effort to raise more than $1.9 million in a six-week span. Every dollar went to emergency relief in UWS’ five-county region.

Beightol, whose leadership role expanded from Manatee County to include Sarasota and DeSoto in 2020, continues to be a pivotal force in elevating early learning and supporting the area’s Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level reading and The Big Plan reading initiative in Manatee County.

The passion they have for community care extends into their private lives. Muroff loves the partnership and adventure she enjoys with her husband and is the proud mother of two daughters and two bonus sons. Beightol is the proud mother of two favorites, a bonus favorite son-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter.

The shared vision Muroff and Beightol hold for Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto is sure to convert their influence into impact and put action behind United Way Suncoast’s new mantra: United We Rise, United We Win.
