And just like that, it's time to celebrate all the end-of-the-year festivities. We've rounded up all the Thanksgiving-centric parties, Christmas festivals and New Year's Eve bashes so you can plan for the best holiday season ever—and we'll keep this post updated as we learn about more.

A Motown Christmas at West Coast Black Theatre Troupe

Nov. 27 to Jan. 5, 1012 N. Orange Ave., Sarasota

Ring in the holidays with an original musical revue. The show features some favorite traditional carols such as “Deck the Halls,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Little Drummer Boy,” “Silent Night,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” and many others. It also features numerous original Christmas songs written and recorded by Motown's most celebrated artists, such as The Jackson 5, The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, and Marvin Gaye.

The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota

Multiple events throughout the holiday season, 1111 Ritz Carlton Drive

Downtown Sarasota's Ritz-Carlton is Santa central this holiday season. From the resort's epic annual gingerbread house in the hotel's lobby to grand buffets on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day, it's a must-stop during the holiday season.

Westin New Year's Eve Winter Soiree

Dec. 31, 100 Marina View Drive, Sarasota, 9 p.m.,

Ring in the new year with a rooftop view of downtown Sarasota overlooking Sarasota Bay. The Westin's party will feature a DJ, a dance floor, party favors and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.

New Year's Eve at Waterside Place

Dec. 31, Waterside Place Town Center, Sarasota, 6 p.m.

Waterside Place forgoes the fireworks on New Year's Eve and replaces them with an awe-inspiring drone show.

Downtown Sarasota Pineapple Drop

Dec. 31, Lemon Avenue and Main Street in Downtown Sarasota, 1 p.m.

In case you've been living under a rock, downtown Sarasota drops a big glowing pineapple at midnight to mark the New Year. This year will have live music, carnival rides, games for the kids and plentiful food and drink, with special offers at local bars and restaurants. Live music begins at 9 p.m.

Beachfront 2025 Countdown at The St. Regis

Dec. 31, 1601 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key

Enjoy a spectacular view and exceptional mixology at the Oshen
rooftop lounge for New Year's Eve. The beachfront countdown includes an
open bar, DJ Session & Panoramic Countdown Projection at Oshen for $250
per guest.

Black & White Party at Cask & Ale

Dec. 31, 1548 Main St., Sarasota

A great spot to hang while you wait for downtown Sarasota's big pineapple drop on Main Street, Cask & Ale is hosting a black and white party with a DJ from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Dale Jones at McCurdy's Comedy Theatre

Dec. 31, 1923 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota

Laugh your way into the New Year at McCurdy's Comedy Theatre with this year's headliner Dale Jones. Watch the ball drop on the two 70-inch television screens and receive free tickets to an upcoming show.
