Pines of Sarasota Foundation Receives Property Donation Appraised at More Than $1 Million

The Pines of Sarasota Foundation recently received a property donation appraised at more than $1 million from long-time Sarasota resident Bob Waechter.
The Hermitage Artist Retreat raised more than $450,000 at its 2025 Artful Lobster event, with funds supporting artists from around the world in the fields of music, theater, visual art, literature, dance, and more.
Gulf Coast Community Foundation donors recently contributed $233,000 in just two days to support All Faiths Food Bank following recent cuts to SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits.
