Publix Super Markets Charities recently granted $135,000 to All Faiths Food Bank. These funds will support All Faiths’ Mobile Pantry Program, which provides fresh produce, meat and groceries at nearly 740 distribution sites throughout the community each month.

Through the Mobile Pantry Program, which includes mobile farm markets, truckloads of food are delivered and distributed to community members in areas of high need to help supplement their nutritional resources. Due to the pandemic, All Faiths pivoted to a drive-through model for its Mobile Pantry Program distributions, with food in pre-packaged boxes as well as individually wrapped items, all of which are placed directly in the trunks of cars.

This most recent grant brought the total financial donations from Publix Super Markets Charities to All Faiths Food Bank to $929,000 since its first gift in 1997. Publix has also donated significant amounts of food to the food bank.
