If you live in Sarasota County, it's free to visit Florida's only natural warm spring this weekend, thanks to the City of North Port, which is offering free admission to Warm Mineral Springs Park for all Sarasota County residents from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14. With rains from Tropical Depression Fred expected to arrive Saturday afternoon, attendees are encouraged to come in the morning. There is no makeup date set for the event.

Proof of Sarasota County residency will be required for the free admission. Admission for non-residents is $20. The springs are located at 12200 San Servando Ave., North Port.
