Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida (PPSWCF) was recently granted $50,000 in funding from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. The money will be used to support sexual and reproductive healthcare for priority populations in Sarasota County, including birth control and emergency contraception; acute care (STI/HIV testing and treatment of infections); and transgender care (gender affirming hormone therapy). It is provided in part by the Community Foundation's Charlotte Jones Fund, Walter Haskins Fund in memory of Stacey K. Haskins, and Evelyn Hanig Osterweil Fund II.
