JFCS of the Suncoast has appointed Todd Garnier as its new chief financial officer. In his new role, Garnier will recommend outcome-driven administrative and fiscal strategies, collaborate with the senior management team to develop a performance-based annual budget, and oversee the staff in the finance department. Prior to joining JFCS, Garnier served as vice-president for finance and administration at Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pa., and also worked in real estate, information technology and optical solutions. He is also the former CFO for both a community college and a charter school. Garnier succeeds Philip Pohlmeyer, who announced his retirement in December 2020. Pohlmeyer will stay on board part-time to help with the transition.
