Deadline to Request Vote-by-Mail Ballot for North Port, Holiday Park Elections Is Feb. 27

The election will be held on March 9.

Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner reminds North Port and Holiday Park voters who would like to vote by mail in their respective March 9 elections that 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27 is the last day to request a ballot be mailed to them. To request a vote-by-mail ballot, go to sarasotavotes.com/votebymail to request a vote-by-mail ballot and to track the ballot from the time the request is processed until the voted ballot is received in the elections office. Voters should allow at least 72 hours from the time they return their ballots for the ballot tracker application to update. 

Voted ballots may be returned by mail or in person but must be received by the elections office by 7 p.m. on election night.  Ballots may also be returned at the drive-thru, drop-off point at the Biscayne Plaza location from Monday, March 1-Saturday, March 6 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday, March 8, from 8:30 a.m.-4 30 p.m., and Tuesday, March 9 (election day) from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
