The organizers of the Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix announced that they have decided to postpone this year's 2020 race until 2021. The decision comes from Suncoast Charities for Children, the organizers of the Sarasota event, as well as race site organizers and sanctioning organizations for the APBA Offshore National Championship Series.

A total of 68 race teams participated in Sarasota in 2019, making it one of the largest turnouts in recent years. The race raised more than $115,000 for Suncoast Charities for Children and generated an estimated economic impact of $29.6 million. Next year’s race is scheduled for June 25-27, 2021; for more updates, click here.
