Following the lead of federal, state and county governments, Visit Sarasota County (VSC) has decided to close its three visitor centers, located at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, downtown Sarasota and Venice, in order to protect visitors, volunteers and staff from COVID-19. This decision is in effect until March 31, at the earliest.

In the interim, visitors can email VSC at [email protected] or call (941) 706-1253. VSC says voicemails are being checked often and calls will be returned as soon as possible. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Visitors can also comment and ask questions via VSC’s social media profile pages on FacebookInstagram and Twitter. The organization is referring coronavirus-specific questions directly to the CDC and Florida Department of Health.
