Effective March 17, in order to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the community, all Sarasota County libraries will be closed until further notice. However, the libraries will offer curbside pick-up for books and other materials reserved through the library's online catalog, and full access to digital resources is available through the library's website. Digital library cards are also available here; while they do require an in-person visit to verify residency, the library system says patrons won't need to come in until at least April 13.
