The Sarasota County Council of Neighborhood Associations is holding a forum for Sarasota County Commission candidates in district two on Monday, July 9. Invited candidates include Republicans Alexandra Coe and Christian Zeigler and Democrat Ruta Maria Jouniari. The primary election for the race is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 28. Monday's candidate forum begins with an opportunity to meet the candidates at 6:30 p.m.; the actual forum begins at 7. The event will take place at the Sarasota Garden Club, 1131 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota.
