Habitat for Humanity Sarasota recently hired Danny Bilyeu as the organization's construction administrator. Bilyeu is a former Sarasota city commissioner and was most recently a field representative for Rep. Vern Buchanan, R-Longboat Key. In his new role, Bilyeu will oversee the planning, development and construction of more than 20 homes per year. His primary responsibility is to support the development of Hammock Place, a recently announced 40-home neighborhood that will provide 40 local families with a stable place to live.
