Guillermo Gomez recently opened Martial Fusion Budo Center, a martial arts training facility, at 2902 Hyde Park St., Sarasota. Gomez designed the center as a multi-dimensional training space, where he offers programs and classes geared toward business professionals, entrepreneurs, CEOs and others seeking to develop leadership and conflict resolution skills, and build confidence, a stronger self-image and overall self-awareness. The concept, developed by Gomez, combines Aikido, kickboxing, yoga, qigong and zen meditation. Gomez is a fifth-degree black belt by Hombu Dojo Japan, and his training in martial arts and other healing arts began at the age of 10.
