The City of Sarasota, Sarasota County, SCORE and CareerSource Suncoast are partnering to offer an Introduction to Business Development course that begins 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23. The free 10-week course focuses on the core basics for new and aspiring small business owners. Business consultants and other business experts will teach classes about business planning, including market strategies, competitive analysis, financials and operations and management plans. Attendance at the first two classes is required to go on to complete the 10-week course. Attendance and participation are mandatory. Download an application online.
