The Downtown Sarasota Alliance board of directors recently appointed three new members: Shay Atluru, April Dipierro and Brett Henson. Atluru is the president and CEO of DTC and a 26-year engineering, planning and development professional. Dipierro is a personal banker at Fifth Third Bank, with 10 years of experience in banking. Henson, meanwhile, is an attorney with the Sarasota office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, representing clients in commercial, construction, manufacturing and product liability-related matters. The Downtown Sarasota Alliance is a nonprofit created to provide a unified voice for downtown merchants, residents, property owners and businesses.
