The next Sarasota Tiger Bay Club luncheon will feature a panel discussion about the Cross College Alliance, a collaboration between Eckerd College, New College of Florida, Ringling College of Art and Design, State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota, University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee and The Ringling. The educational network was created to expand learning opportunities for the schools' 18,000-plus students. Representatives from Ringling College, New College and The Ringling will discuss the program from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, at Michael's on East, 1212 S. East Ave., Sarasota. Tickets are $25 for Tiger Bay members and $30 for non-members.
