Sarasota was ranked No. 15 in a list of America's top 20 destinations for sports and adventure recently compiled by the tourism and real estate research firm Resonance. The company created the list by evaluating cities based on their options in TripAdvisor's Outdoor Activities and Boat Tours & Water Sports categories. The top three destinations are islands in Hawaii, followed by San Diego and then Destin, Florida. The Tampa and St. Petersburg area ranked No. 8.
