Alexander J. Bajorek, M.D., joined First Physican Group's physiatry team, providing inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for people recovering from brain and spinal cord injuries, stroke and other neurological, orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Bajorek earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville, Kentucky, and came to Sarasota from Harvard Medical School’s Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, Mass., where he completed his residency training and served as Chief Resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Association of Academic Physiatrists. Dr. Bajorek will work closely with Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialists Samuel Grissom, M.D., medical director of Sarasota Memorial’s Rehabilitation Services, Associate Medical Director David Siegel, M.D., and Sarasota Memorial’s multi-disciplinary team of rehabilitation specialists.
