The Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation recently hired Kara Saunders as the nonprofit's director of communications. Saunders will be responsible for the design, development, coordination and production of marketing and advertising programs for the foundation. For the previous five years, Saunders was the operations manager for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System’s HealthFit wellness facility.
