Sarasota County's Human Resources Department is holding a job fair that caters to south county residents from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at the North Port Public Library, 13800 Tamiami Trail, North Port. Representatives from the county's libraries and historical resources, fleet and facilities departments will be in attendance. There are currently over 25 vacancies advertised on the county's website here. The new Shannon Staub Library, slated to open at 4901 N. Cranberry Blvd., North Port, this August, will employ more than 20 full- and part-time employees. Those positions will be posted for applicants in coming months.
