The Lodge at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club recently received a national Golden Fork Award, an honor created by Golf Inc. magazine to recognize the best and most improved public and private golf club dining facilities. Competing against 20 dining facilities, the Lodge ranked second in the category of New Private. Judges scored entries based on revenue, traffic, guest satisfaction, aesthetics, service, menus and capital investments. Sarasota's Fawley Bryant Architecture served as architect of record for the 30,000-square-foot club.
