The president and CEO of the Women's Resource Center, Ashley Brown, is hosting a series of "coffee and conversation" events to discuss how the organization serves women. Topics will touch on current Resource Center programs, partnerships, people and projects. The events will take place 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at the Jacaranda Public Library, 4143 Woodmere Park Blvd., Venice; 10 a.m.-noon Thursday, Dec. 8, at 1926 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton; and 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at 340 S. Tuttle Ave., Sarasota.
