After years of debate, the Sarasota County Commission on Tuesday unanimously approved looser regulations for food trucks. The new rules will allow truck owners to obtain a temporary use permit that would allow them to operate on multiple properties with the property owner's consent. The changes also eliminated rules that barred trucks from setting up within 800 feet of existing restaurants.
