The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee will begin offering a new master's degree program in social work next fall.

The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee will begin offering a new master's degree program in social work next fall. The program is intended to prepare students for careers at hospitals, social service agencies, schools and a variety of clinical counseling settings. The college is hosting an open house about the program at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in the school's Selby Auditorium, 8350 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Faculty will be on hand to answer prospective students’ questions. Applications for next fall are due in February.
