Dr. Bradley Thiessen comes to New College from St. Ambrose University, a private institution in Davenport, Iowa, where he served for 12 years as university assessment coordinator and a faculty member in the department of mathematics and statistics, including a term as department chair.  He worked on institutional assessment, faculty development, accreditation and other issues. Thiessen will examine academic and other performance data in order to inform and improve the College’s programs. He began work at New College in July.
