Venice's J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. began construction on the new three-story Daiquiri Deck on south Siesta Key this week. Located at 1250 Stickney Point Road, the project will sit on the site of a former gas station on the west side of CB’s Island Outfitters, which retains ownership of the entire parcel. The new structure will feature a 1,000-square-foot coffee shop on the ground floor and refrigeration and storage on the second floor. The 3,500-square-foot Daiquiri Deck restaurant, with its signature Daiquiri machines, will occupy the third level. The project is scheduled to wrap up in spring 2017.
