Patrick Moreo, dean of USF Sarasota-Manatee's College of Hospitality & Tourism Leadership, was recently bestowed the top award at a recent meeting of the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education, or the International CHRIE. The organization, comprised of top academics across the hospitality field, presented Moreo with the Howard B. Meek Award for lifetime achievement. The award is the highest individual recognition a member of the organization may receive.
