Sofrito Mama's, a Sarasota Puerto Rican restaurant, recently leased 2,160 square feet on the first floor of a planned two-story building designed and developed by Barron and Patty Schimberg of the Schimberg Group and located at 2101 Main St., Sarasota. The new building, currently scheduled for completion in early 2017, will become the first building constructed on Main Street east of U.S. 301 in more than nine years.
