Sarasota's Halfacre Construction Company was recently prequalified as a potential construction management firm for future Collier County Public Schools projects, meaning the company will be considered for upcoming school projects. Halfacre was recognized at a school board meeting held May 10. The contract begins July 1 and will be active till June 30, 2017. The multi-year prequalification also has the option of two additional years.
