Detert to Cut Ribbon at New Loveland Center Facility
Loveland Center, a nonprofit that provides educational programs and vocational training for individuals with developmental disabilities, will celebrate the grand opening of the Nancy Detert Residences at Loveland Village with a ribbon cutting ceremony held 10 a.m.-noon Monday, May 16. State Sen. Detert, who was instrumental in advocating for housing funding for adults with developmental disabilities, will cut the ribbon at the ceremony. The 42-apartment complex will provide a therapeutic community of peers and support services for up to 94 adults with developmental disabilities. The complex is located at 157 S. Havana Road, Venice.
