Wellen Park, the master-planned, national top-selling community in south Sarasota, keeps growing with. Its latest addition is called Everly.

Everly will be a gated neighborhood of luxury single-family homes with private amenities along a 50-acre lake. It will also be Wellen Park's first multi-homebuilder neighborhood.

Homes will be built by regional names like John Cannon Homes, Lee Wetherington Homes, Neal Signature Homes and Homes by WestBay. Sales have started, and construction of model homes is underway. Prices for Everly homes start at $736,000.

Lakefront amenities will include a social hall with a kitchen and reception area, a fitness center, an outdoor dining area with a fire pit, and a resort pool and private cabanas along with access to pickleball courts and a chip-and-putt golf facility. It will be located along West Villages Parkway and Manasota Beach Road with a main entry land bridge bordered by a lake with a fountain. A fishing platform extends along the lake and is adjacent to a seating area around a fire bowl and water fountain. There's also an event lawn and a dog park.

The new neighborhood is located near Wellen Park's College Preparatory Academy, now under construction and accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year. It will open with an initial capacity of 600 students in grades kindergarten through six, with seventh and eighth grades being added each subsequent year.

There will be increased access to trails with the future Oakheart Nature Trail, which will wind alongside Everly’s 50-acre lake and north toward a future Sarasota County School District high school site, stretching across East River Road and ending at Playmore Road.

One of the model homes, the Warrina by John Cannon Homes, is expected to open toward the second quarter of 2024 and will span 3,412 square feet with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a nearly 850-square-foot covered lanai. It includes a study, a large bonus room and a three-car garage.
