Remember Tom Brady's Tampa mansion, which we wrote about back in 2021, when it went on the market for $29 million? You know, the one he and his now ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, rented from Yankees legend Derek Jeter for $75,000 a month?

Jeter's mansion sold a few months later for $22,519,433. But cheer up: you can still step inside Brady's shoes by renting the decidedly humbler nearby home he moved into afterward at 588 Riviera Drive—and for $15,000 less, at that.

The contemporary pad is just $60,000 a month and is easier to manage at roughly 6,500 square feet. That's compared to Jeter’s, which was just under 22,000 square feet. (Jeter is living in Miami now, thanks to his new job as CEO of the Marlins.)

Built in 2011, that Jeter compound took up three lots and is the largest waterfront property on Davis Islands. Since being purchased by a trust run by Tampa lawyer David L. Koche, demolition permits have been filed with the city to level it. Future plans for the sprawling lot are unknown.

The home at 588 Riviera Drive, also on Davis Islands, was listed for sale during the summer of 2022, months before Brady and Bündchen’s divorce went public. With a starting price tag of $14 million, the home didn’t budge, even after a $1.5 million discount brought the most recent listing price to $12.5 million. The main bedroom on the second floor has 13-foot floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Tampa Bay, a four-car garage, a rooftop terrace, a custom wine cellar and an elevator. It was built in 2019.

The home has six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms.

Brady is the only NFL player to win more than five Super Bowls and has been named Super Bowl MVP five times. In 2020, after a long career with the New England Patriots, Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won his seventh Super Bowl. He spent his past three years with the team and is credited for getting the Buccaneers to the playoffs in each of those seasons. Now, after a false start last year, he's finally retiring after 23 years as one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks.
