Bayso, a 149 luxury condominium, 18-story high-rise in the Quay Sarasota waterfront district, has sold out less than 12 months after the first sale was made in early 2021. Vertical construction began in August last year and completion is scheduled for the fall of 2023.

Priced from the $800,000s, it offered 11 floor plans ranging from 1,600 to just less than 2,500 square feet. Seven penthouses ranged from 2,500 to over 5,000 square feet and were priced to just over $3 million. Bayso amenities will include a resort-style pool, fitness center, residents' club room with catering kitchen and private dog park.

The project was developed by Kolter Urban who is also credited with developing Bayso’s Quay District nearby neighbor, the Ritz-Carlton Residences. Bayso is Kolter Urban’s fourth tower in downtown Sarasota. The Delray Beach-based company also developed two other similar, high-profile downtown residential projects: the Vue and Mark, Sarasota.

The developer is in the process of developing more than $3 billion in residential projects, including over 2,800 waterfront, water view and amenity-laden urban condominium and townhome residences throughout the state.

Bayso sales were managed by The Premier Sotheby’s International Realty sales team, which sold the last residence last month, closing more than $200,000,000 in sales in record-breaking time.
