A Casey Key Compound Sells for $5.5 million
A Casey Key compound with three homes on nearly two acres of Gulf-to-bay property sold for $5.5 million in August, making it that month’s highest priced Sarasota County residential sale. Tollyn Twitchell, son of famed Sarasota School of Architecture architect Ralph Twitchell, designed the homes at 2411 and 2413 Casey Key Road—a main residence with 200 feet of Gulf frontage; a guest beach house; and a bayfront cottage with private boat dock—in 1988. There’s a separate detached workshop/man cave that can accommodate exotic vehicles. Deborah Beacham of Michael Saunders & Company both listed and sold the property.
